School Council

School Uniform

Children at our school are expected to wear school uniform which is either a school sweatshirt, cardigan or polo shirt, royal blue with a yellow motif.

Boys can wear black or grey trousers or shorts. Girls can wear trousers or a skirt.

In the summer they can wear the blue/white check summer dress.

All children need a PE kit consisting of a white T-shirt, black shorts, gym shoes or soft trainers (not the ones worn for school).

The kit should be kept in a drawstring bag marked with the child's name and should be available in school at all times. It is suggested that they bring it into school on a Monday morning and take it home to be washed on a Friday afternoon.

Please mark all shoes, clothes and kit with your child's name - it does save time when things get lost. It is particularly important to mark articles of clothing which are similar and worn by many children, for example wellington boots and school sweatshirts.

For safety reasons and on the recommendation from the NYCC, no jewellery, watches, ear rings etc. are to be worn during P.E. lessons or during swimming lessons.  Only studs to be worn in ears at other times.
